Beauty Society Paris 2026: an evening where, for some, everything is only beginning
The much-talked-about Beauty Society Paris has finally taken place — a professional beauty event held in Paris on September 6, 2026.
A few hours of talks, demonstrations, photography and conversations went by incredibly quickly.
But evenings like this leave behind much more than photographs..
They leave new encounters.New ideas.Contacts.Decisions that only yesterday may have seemed too bold.And stories of people who keep moving forward despite relocation, a different language, a new professional system and sometimes the need to almost start again from scratch in France.
That is why today we would like to focus less on the event itself and more on the people who created it and gave it meaning.
Beauty Society Paris is a professional networking project for beauty specialists in France, bringing together education, networking, professional demonstrations and real human connection.
The first meeting on September 6 brought together hairstylists, beauty professionals, educators and people who are still searching for their professional path in France.
It all started with Julia
For us, this story is particularly personal.
Long before Julia Matviychuk decided to organize her first professional event, we knew her in a completely different role.
Julia was once a Beauty Bar Paris student herself
Julia completed the theoretical CAP Coiffure preparation block on the Beauty Bar Paris platform.
She already had extensive professional experience behind her: more than 20 years in the industry, high-level professional work, participation in competitions and teaching experience.
But France has its own system.
Even highly experienced professionals sometimes need to understand new qualifications, professional requirements and regulations — and occasionally return to studying.
Julia completed this journey remarkably quickly.
After approximately 4 to 6 months of preparation, she reached her goal and obtained the French CAP Coiffure qualification.
For Beauty Bar Paris, a project that also supports the professional integration of beauty specialists in France, stories like this are always especially meaningful.
But for Julia, receiving the diploma turned out not to be the finish line.
It was the beginning of a new chapter.
From student to the initiator of her own event
A few months later, Julia came back with a different idea.
She wanted to organize her first professional event for beauty specialists in France.
And when she invited us to take part, we were very happy to say yes.
Seeing someone obtain a diploma is one thing.
Seeing that same person, only a few months later, step forward, bring people together, share their experience and dare to create a project of their own is something completely different.
Beauty Bar Paris was delighted to support the first initiative of one of its former students.
For us, it felt completely natural.
If a project helped someone take one professional step, why not support them when they are ready to take the next?
Beauty Bar Paris — a partner supporting a first step
Organizing a first event is always an experiment and involves financial and organizational risks that can be difficult to carry alone in France.
That is why Beauty Bar Paris became a partner of this first initiative, providing part of the organizational, communication and financial support required.
We helped create the conditions for professional demonstrations, high-quality photo content, visibility for the specialists involved and an opportunity for everyone to present themselves and their work.
And there is one thing we particularly want to say.
We do not believe professional support should end the day a student receives a diploma.
Sometimes, the true value of education becomes visible much later:
when someone starts working independently;
when they raise their prices for the first time;
when they open their own space;
when they welcome their first students;
or when one day they say:
“I would like to try organizing my own event.”
And sometimes, all they need at that moment is someone nearby who answers:
“Try. We will support you.”
Who came to Beauty Society Paris?
Beauty Society Paris was never intended to be simply an evening of talks.
We wanted to bring together people with completely different stories.
Experienced professionals.
People who have been working in France for many years.
Those who are still completing or validating their qualifications here.
People looking for training.
And people who need new professional connections.
That is why every person present that evening deserves to be mentioned.
Julia Matviychuk — from CAP Coiffure to her own projects
Julia was the initiator of this first meeting and one of the central figures of the evening.
She shared her professional experience and gave a demonstration of modern evening hairstyling.
Behind her are more than 20 years of professional experience, an international career and now a French CAP Coiffure qualification.
But for us, another part of her story is especially meaningful:
only a few months ago she was preparing for a French diploma; today she is launching her own professional initiative in Paris.

Alesya — founder of the Beauty Bar Paris project
During the evening, Alesya spoke about challenges many foreign professionals face after moving to France:
professional education;
CAP qualifications;
integration into the beauty industry;
legal professional activity.
Beauty Bar Paris itself gradually grew out of experiences like these.
Today its purpose goes far beyond simply booking beauty services or helping professionals find a workspace.
It is a space where specialists can study, build professional connections, collaborate, experiment with new ways of working and gradually find their place in the French beauty industry.
Olga Podolskaya — when talent also needs to be protected by the right paperwork
In France, you can be an excellent specialist and still face a huge number of administrative questions.
Which legal status should you choose?
How do you register a business?
What needs to be declared to URSSAF?
How do you correct a mistake?
What should you do in case of an inspection?
Which documents are required to regularize or develop your situation?
This was the professional reality discussed by Olga Podolskaya.
Olga and her team support clients with administrative and accounting matters in France.
Their work includes:
visas, residence permits and changes of status;
business and association registration;
accounting support;
tax and social declarations;
communication with URSSAF and public administrations;
support with correcting mistakes and dealing with complex administrative situations.

Polina Shabelska — why a good professional also needs to learn how to be visible
You can be an excellent hairstylist.
Create beautiful hairstyles.
Produce flawless makeup.
Work with nails, eyelashes or brows.
But if nobody knows you exist, professional growth becomes much more difficult.
That is why personal branding and social media visibility became an important topic of the evening.
Polina Shabelska, an experienced SMM specialist who has worked with projects in the fashion world, shared her expertise with the participants.
The conversation was not simply about having an attractive Instagram feed.
It was about how to communicate your value, build trust and help people understand who you are as a professional before they even meet you.

Alexander Esikov — sometimes professional skill simply needs to be seen live
Beauty Society Paris was designed so that theory would always be accompanied by practice.
One of the important moments of the evening was therefore a professional demonstration by Alexander Esikov.
Watching a professional work live is an entirely different form of learning.
You can observe hand movements, working sequences, technical decisions and details that can never be fully communicated through text alone.

And among the guests were professionals with more than twenty years of experience
It was particularly valuable to see people among the participants who were not merely interested in the beauty industry, but had dedicated a significant part of their lives to it.
Tamara — in the profession since 2000
Tamara has worked as a hairstylist since 2000.
After moving to France, her professional journey continued here: she has been working in a salon in France since 2019.
Her story is an important reminder for every foreign professional:
moving to another country does not erase the years of experience you already have.
Yes, you may need to learn a new system.
Sometimes validate your qualifications.
Adapt.
Learn a new language.
But twenty years of professional experience do not disappear the moment you cross a border.

Liliia Shamaieva — 22 years of experience and a French CAP
Liliia Shamaieva’s story is quite similar.
She has worked as a hairstylist for 22 years.
She has been living and working in Paris for four years.
We particularly appreciated her message after the event, where she said she was happy to have met everyone and hoped those new connections would continue.
Because that is exactly why meetings like this are created.
So that people leave not simply with a photograph,
but with at least one new contact that may one day become a friendship, a job, a collaboration or a new project.

Gulnaza @coloriste_experte — talent passed down through generations
Among the guests was Gulnaza, a talented young woman from a true family dynasty of hairstylists, for whom the profession is not simply a job but part of her family history.
Yet even with a strong professional background and genuine love for her craft, she also had to adapt to the French system, just like many professionals arriving from abroad.
Gulnaza studied on the Beauty Bar Paris platform as part of her CAP Coiffure preparation and successfully obtained the French qualification on her very first attempt.
For us, it is especially rewarding to see someone who grew up surrounded by the profession bring together family tradition, personal talent and French professional qualifications.

Zinka Lihovetska — hairstylist and colourist in Paris
Another participant was Zinka Lihovetska, a hairstylist and colourist working in Paris and Vélizy-Villacoublay.
She specializes in modern colouring and lightening techniques including AirTouch, HandTouch and Total Blonde.
For this type of professional, colour is not simply a technical service.
It is an area of expertise requiring precision, a strong understanding of hair structure and the ability to achieve a clean, beautiful result.
We were particularly happy to welcome a professional with such a clear specialization and distinctive aesthetic.

Angelica @angelica.color — colour expert and personalized image specialist
Another participant was Angelica, an expert colourist based in Paris.
She approaches colour not only as a technical task but as a tool for revealing a person’s natural beauty.
Her work combines colour analysis, balayage and visagism, allowing her to select shades and solutions that take into account each client’s appearance, facial features and individual image.
Her philosophy is not about transforming someone beyond recognition.
Instead, it is about discovering what truly enhances them and brings out their natural features.

Alexandre — someone still looking for the right door
One more story felt especially symbolic to us.
Alexandre came to the event with a different goal.
He does not yet present himself as an established professional.
His goal is to:
find genuinely high-quality training, learn a profession and eventually work in a salon.
At one end of the room that evening were people with twenty to twenty-two years of professional experience.
At the other was someone still trying to decide where to begin.
And perhaps that explains better than anything else why professional meetings like this matter.
Maybe a few years from now, Alexandre will be telling someone else about his first training course and his first salon job.

Helena Skripchenko — beauty as both an external and internal state
Among the participants was also Helena Skripchenko, a professional hairstylist with many years of experience and a genuine love for her work.
For Helena, working with appearance is not only about hairstyle, colour or shape.
Her approach is based on the idea that beauty is closely connected to how a person feels inside.
She therefore aims not simply to change someone’s appearance, but to help each client express their individuality, highlight their natural beauty and feel more confident.
Helena’s professional interests also extend beyond hairstyling.
She is a facilitator of the Leela game, an ancient self-discovery practice that allows people to explore their questions, inner states and life patterns from a different perspective.
This combination of external transformation and inner exploration makes her path particularly interesting.

The person who helped make sure this evening would live on beyond our memories

Beauty Society Paris — more than one evening
When we first created the event page, Beauty Society Paris was imagined as a space where beauty professionals could gain knowledge, meet one another and discover new opportunities for professional development in France.
After the first meeting, one thing became even clearer:
the greatest value of events like this is the people.
Not the decorations.
Not the number of posts.
Not even the number of presentations.
But the moment when two people who did not know each other yesterday begin talking.
When someone with twenty years of experience meets someone still searching for their first training course.
When a former student organizes her first professional project.
When one professional tells another how to avoid a mistake they once made themselves.
No guest left without a gift
It was important to us that Beauty Society Paris would be remembered not only for the talks, demonstrations and new connections, but also for its warm and caring atmosphere.
That is why no guest left the evening without a gift.
The gifts were sponsored by the Beauty Bar Paris project, which prepared small surprises and tokens of appreciation for the participants.
It was our way of telling every person:
thank you for coming, for supporting this first initiative, for meeting one another and for becoming part of this evening.

Ekaterina @ptitsyna_k — architecture, atmosphere and an interest in new technologies
At every event, there are people everyone sees on stage.
And there are others who make the space, details and atmosphere come together as one complete picture.
That evening, one of those people was Ekaterina.
She is an architect by profession, and perhaps that is exactly why she has such a strong sense of space, detail and visual harmony.
She helped with the atmosphere of the evening, presentation, food, décor and all those small elements guests do not always consciously notice, but which are exactly what make an event feel beautiful and welcoming.
Alongside architecture, Ekaterina is also interested in artificial intelligence, visual technologies and video creation, exploring new ways to combine creativity with modern tools.
We especially wanted to mention her because speakers and professionals often remain at the centre of attention, while the people creating the atmosphere behind the scenes can easily be overlooked.
Without Ekaterina, this evening simply would not have looked as beautiful as it did.
